Well done to all Ryton Tri Ironmen! Third place for Denise and Jaci - fantastic result girls! Unfortunately for Laura, she swallowed/breathed in water and felt nauseous the whole way round - but she didn't throw the towel in and all credit must go to her immense inner strength and character. Her hubby Phil also performed really well: he came out the water ranked 1323 and after the bike, this climbed to 538 and after a brilliant run his final ranking came in at 460 - a total move of 863 positions. Dave Garner recorded the fastest run for the Ryton Tri lot and his ranking moved from 358 to 119: a move of 239 places. Photos to follow shortly in the Rogues Gallery......

Stokesley Duathlon 28th March 2010 results

This year is turning out to be a very frantic one for some of our members. We have 13 members, (including 4 ironladies) training for either Ironman Lanzarote or Ironman Nice.

On a more lowlier level, we also have members who are competing in their first standard distance triathlon, or their first ever sprint triathlon and we have some that have done sprint triathlons but are skipping the standard distance and going straight for the middle distance triathlon (Cleveland Steelman).

So we have a veritable collection of nutters in our club! (I'm sure I'll get told off for this description!)
